I purchased these grips for my S&W model 686, 357 revolver. Installation was fairly easy, but I noticed a gap at the top of the frame and running down the finger groves. Close inspection revealed that the top of the right side grip overlaid one of the small screws that hold the gun's frame panels in place.

The grip wasn't too big, or too small, just awkward. I wanted grips that felt more like the factory rubber monogrip that comes on the S&W 686. I attached a photo comparison between the 686 grips and the Pachmayr Grippers. The Pachmayr Grippers come in two styles. The open/exposed back (reviewed here), and the fully enclosed style with palm swell.
