Edit with extra info because I've been calcing this: At max hp, zcb beats bofa by 4.29%. Rubies start having lower spec at ~500 hp, and equals bofa at ~440 hp with 7.20 dps. So it's better, but a 0.3 dps increase isn't crazy. If I only had bofa I wouldn't worry about it. Masori is good with blowpipe, but I think everywhere you would bring a blowpipe you would also bring bowfa, in which case you would just camp crystal armor and not masori. It is very rare that you would only bring blowpipe. GGs is the big one I can think of.

Basically- I would recommend not switching to a crossbow, but rather bringing one as an addition if you have trouble maximising dps with blowpipe; and it definitely isn’t needed, but might make pushing a little bit higher invocations easier (although you will have to give up a small amount in supplies and the +1 prayer bonus from a blessing ...The zcb if you spam it is incredibly strong when paired with a blowpipe. The Zaryte crossbow is a ranged weapon that requires a Ranged level of 80 to wield, and can fire up to dragon bolts. Unlike other crossbows, the Zaryte crossbow grants defensive bonuses. It is one of two crossbows with a Prayer bonus, along with the Armadyl crossbow from which it is crafted. Fang is better than either of those ranged weapons though. So you'd just range when you cant melee (usually shadow phase/ice phase during contain/zaros phase during deflect melee). For most slayer bosses the melee methods will normally be better for pures outside of gwd and dragons as you still have access to the best melee items. Zcb is a spec weapon. You won't use it for dps on wardens, obelisk, zebak or akkah. Also pretty sure it's better to use bowfa over dhcb at vespula or mystics lol it's only good for olm I don't understand why you mentioned these weapons. It would make sense however if you compared it with bp as some rooms especially in cox it's the better weapon.This video makes me realize how broken zcb is here. Consistently getting 1:30-2:00 kills. I run solo 450s and use BGS on Baba/Kephri and ZCB on Zebak, Warden P1/3/4, and Baba if my first BGS spec lands. If I had a tbow I would also BGS spec Zebak first then ZCB.
