Your starter is also most likely just fine, the clicking you hear is the solenoid on the starter, so your battery has some juice, but not enough amps to turn over the starter.

Other option is to remove the entire clutch and housing but that is a ton of work and many members here have changed the starter without doing that. If the pump doesn't run for about 3 seconds when you cycle the key on, then you need to find out why. Sometimes it's just a faulty relay or a bad connection. If the pump is getting power but still don't spool up when you cycle the key, then the pump is bad.
